Family Ministry
With these words the Lord has given parents the mandate and mission to be the primary faith providers for their children. God has created the family in order that we may learn who God is and what is His purpose for mankind (Ps. 82:6, Jn. 11:34, Rom. 3:15-16, Eph. 3:14-15).
The CGI Toronto Family Ministry believes in equipping parents to bring the faith at home and to support parents with instilling godly values in their children. To this end, we have developed a structure of ”Spiritual Milestones” in which we recognize important life milestones along the Christian journey of faith. Moreover, we have developed and continue to work on Parent Seminars, Church Celebrations, Faith Talks, and Spiritual Blessings which will reinforce and teach the core competencies between each milestone. The end result is to create an atmosphere of strong unity among the church in supporting godly families so that our families can raise children equipped and focused on serving the Lord.
We are always in need of volunteers who share our vision and would like to contribute in this vital ministry.
